Phone: 541-247-7925Send Lynn a message.Lynn Wegner, Principal Broker, grew up outside of Portland in the small town of Lake Oswego. After high school, Lynn attended Oregon State University and then graduated from Lewis & Clark College in 1982 with a degree in Business. She then married Joe Wegner and joined him in Gold Beach, where he was already living. Joe had a work opportunity in Gold Beach, so Joe & Lynn thought it would be a great stepping stone (and they both love the coast) and planned to stay for a while and then transfer to a larger city. That was about 28 years ago! Once they started making friends and having children, they just couldn't think of a better place to live. They raised 3 boys in Gold Beach. Their oldest, Jake (26) attended OSU and is now back living in Gold Beach and working as a contractor. Their middle son, Matt (22) currently attends OSU and plans to graduate in 2010 with a degree in Communications. Their youngest, Joey (19), also attends OSU and is majoring in Accounting & Finance and after graduation plans to become a CPA and pursue a career in the FBI.
Lynn began her career in Gold Beach with a quick try at motel front desk work at Jots Resort. Next there was Insurance Agent, followed eventually by Real Estate Broker. Lynn worked part time while the kids were young but is really enjoying working full time now that they are grown. Lynn's real estate career began in about 1989 working for Lois Whitehead Real Estate. Lynn stayed there until the end of 2006. Lois retired and Lynn decided it was time to open her own office, Pacific Coastal Real Estate. The first year Lynn worked it alone to get the feel for the business. The next year, she had the great pleasure of hiring 3 other brokers, 1 of which has since retired (Gary Templeton). Karen Kennedy & Linda Stokes remain and have helped many, many clients purchase or sell their properties. In 2010, Pam Dickson came onboard to round out the group. They are a small and friendly group with a lot of real estate background- over 40 years between them. They take pride in caring, professional, honest, knowledgeable work and look forwarding to meeting you!
